The Towers Bar and Restaurant is situated alongside Clew Bar Harbour, nestled in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. Although the whole premises has been completely transformed with a bright and contemporary nautical design it still maintains some of the original features such as ‘The Snug’ and conveys a warm & welcoming atmosphere.
Since reopening on the 4th of March under new management The Towers Bar and Restaurant has been a favourite with locals and tourists alike. Our lunch & dinner menus boast the very best in fresh, local, Irish produce with a dish to suit all tastes. We are delighted to be able to cater for a wide range of tastes in our bar from offering our craft beer loving customers a variety of specially selected craft beers brewed in micro-breweries all over Ireland to delighting our wine lovers with our Prosecco on tap.
The Restaurant area of the bar is bright and airy, amid fashionable interior styling and impeccable furnishings it provides the perfect location for any occasion and the view of Clew Bay simply adds to the whole dining experience.
Our Beer Garden is enclosed by a handcrafted stone wall topped with a glass panel which provides protection from the sea breeze while still allowing you to dine al fresco or just enjoy the breathtaking views of Clew Bay with Croagh Patrick towering in the background, which are enhanced by the evening sunset, while having a drink. Alongside our Beer Garden is a fully enclosed children’s play area which is fully visible from both the Beer Garden & the Restaurant Area, providing you with the ability to relax and enjoy your visit with the reassurance of being able to watch your children while they play.
The Towers Bar also offers modern and newly refurbished self catering apartments with private terrace over-looking Clew bay. Kitchens are fully equipped for a self catering stay for 4 people.
